From Whitley Streiber:
UFO Press Conference Widely Covered
In the past, attempts to stage press conferences with credible witnesses at the
National Press Club in Washington have met with, at best, mixed results.
This time, however, there was extensive coverage and even the New York Times, which has long refused to cover the UFO subject at all, ran a fair and credible story.
UFO MediaWatch has posted a grand total of forty-two links to news media that ran coverage, and it is a blue ribbon list, indeed, ranging from CNN and Fox News to the New York Times and many of the most prestigious international news sources in the world, such as the BBC, the UK’s Independent and Telegraph newspapers, Australia’s the Age, and many others.
This coverage is the best ever achieved for any UFO press conference, and the relative absence of jokes, sneering and misinformation is amazing.
Coverage overseas was much more extensive than in the United States, but the New York Times and Reuters stories were picked up by many newspapers that are not listed on the link below.
You can read transcripts of conference at UFOMediaWatch, also. The disclosures are extraordinary, frank and very revealing.
John Callaghan, a former FAA investigator, spoke frankly of the government’s attempts to hush up an encounter between a 747 and a huge UFO over Alaska in 1987, an encounter that made the news just a week before Whitley Strieber began his historic Communion author tour, and helped him get his point across, despite the government’s attempt to cover it up.
The panelists were brought together from seven countries, and all had either seen UFOs or had investigated them, generally based on sightings by pilots and other professionals.

San Luis Valley UFO

Christopher O’Brien, provided this photo of a strange craft flying sideways over the San Luis Valley on August 20, 2007 (click for larger image). O’Brien has ruled out several common explanations for the odd aerial phenomenon. “It is not the ISS… I don’t think it is a balloon or anything conventional,” he explained.
—————————————————————————-
On Saturday November 10 and Sunday November 11, 2007 the Will County Ghost Hunters Society conducted an overnight investigation at the P. Seth Magosky Museum in Joliet, IL. During the course of the investigation, over 2,000 photos were taken. At 4:55 AM a series of ten photographs of the staircase leading from the first floor to the second floor were taken with a night vision camera. In this photograph, one of the WCGHS investigators, Sunnie, can be seen at the top of the staircase with her flashlight. Also in the photograph is an apparition of a tall figure on the staircase. At the time of the photograph the figure was not seen or detected. It appears he is walking up the stairs and stopped to look over his shoulder at the camera. The figure was not in any of the other photographs.
